Do You Think Ailyn is right for Sirenia?

No. She only got chosen out of 500 people which isn't very much when you stop and think about it. If she was the best they could find than the other people much had been terrible.

I somewhat agree. 500 isn't very much but who knows maybe Ailyn was what Morten wanted in a vocalist. I still find her voice to be rather painful to listen to through. I also think it doesn't matter how mich she changes the way she looks, she will never be a true metalhead in my eyes.

If Morten thinks she is right for the band than she must be. There is no doubt in my mind that he had his reasons for picking her out of 500 others. Perhaps what music we have heard of her simply wasn't Ailyn at her best? Until we hear the cd, we couldn't say rather she is or isn't right for the band.

I came across her yt account awhile back and got really pissed off. First any Sirenia video that didn't feature her was marked with 1 star. Who the fucks does she think she is? Than she was sitting there talking to someone and saying that she would be the best singer that Sirenia ever had and that she was better than the others. In her dreams.

same thing happened to me. What a lapdog. I hope her wig over takes her, and her mexican stache comez back... then she'd have something cool to look at.

Her voice fits some songs of the new album.. and she doesn't sing in a bad way..

I guess the most we can do is grit our teeth and hope Morten shows her the ropes of gothic metal and how to blend with it.

well i don't know...i just know i like what i see...The Ailyn-Sirenia seems good to me...& ofcourse that out there may be someone better & more apropriate for the band,as with the other bands...and that's all.

Yea that's what i'm affraid of...this is why things like Within Temptation go good...as Sharon & Robert are married,we know they'll not kick out each other but i hope Ailyn will stay in Sirenia for at least 3-4 years joke... couse i realy like her...

Ailyn is the best choose possible. She talanted and has beauty. She is the perfect woman to front the band and play the role of a siren. I think Morten made a excellent choice by choosing Ailyn.

I think too many people hate her. Simply because she doesn't have a metal background. But who are we to judge her for following a differant path.
