Why Did Monika Leave Sirenia?

Here is what she said
It's been a while ago, but I haven't seen it been posted on this forum so I thought I'd mention it

To be honest, I'm kind of relieved. Hopefully they'll find someone who can handle the music written for/with Henriette and Fabienne.

"Sirenia and Monika part ways !

Due to musical disagreements singer Monika Pedersen and Sirenia has decided to part ways, here is Monika's statement:

"After much consideration I have chosen to leave Sirenia, but I will continue with music. The reason is, that we have too many musical differences, and I don’t feel like it’s the right band for me. I have had a great time in the band, lots of good experiences and only wish the best for the band in the future.

I want to send a big “Thank You” to all the fans for your support – you haven’t heard the last of me!"

Because she isn't good enough to sing in a metal band.

I'm unlocking the topic which means you have another chance to comment about what happen. But if I get any more complaints I'm locking it for good.

I think she does better in Simphonia.. I've listened to them..

you really hate her

because of the musical differences no realy i love her...she just didn't get well with Sirenia...but Nine destinies was great anyway...and yeah she's awesome in Sinphonia...

i was affraid of hearing that...people hate her because she came in Sirenia after Henriette... but it's not her fault Henriette left...shall i laugh,shall i cry...

no I think people hate Monika because of her poppy voice

Her voice isn't poppy its rock.

rock voice can fit Sirenia in some songs but the typical Sirenian voice is sweeter

I think Morten wanted to break away from typical when he hired Monika.

I have the same thinking.
